Turkey spans two continents (Europe and Asia) and has some 8,000km of coastline. It is divided into seven regions, each has its own distinct climate, landscape and traditions. Four are named for their adjacent seas: the Mediterranean, the Black Sea, the Marmara, and the Aegean Regions. The other three are part of Anatolia: Central, Eastern and South East Anatolia Regions.
